Have you found your Prince Charming yet? Why not? I’ll tell you why – it’s because you, and way too many other women out there keep dating the bad boys, and overlooking Mr Nice Guy. It’s time to stop getting treated like dirt, and cancel the bad boy dating subscription, and finally find your Mr Right.
Who is Mr Nice Guy?
Mr Nice Guy is thoughtful, attentive, and considerate. He’s probably polite, loves his family, treats others with respect, works hard, has a close group of friends and is waiting for a fulfilling relationship with you. I know what you’re thinking, “Yeah right! This guy sounds like a total wimp!” But you’d be wrong! Don’t confuse Mr Nice Guy, with the Nice Guy Syndrome – Men with the Nice Guy Syndrome are needy, they lack confidence, need your approval, and are probably holding on to hurt from another women. Go out on a date with these guys, and you’ll hear horror stories of relationships past (think Allan from Two and Half Men).
The Mr Nice Guy you want to meet is very different. While he may seem a little shy at first, he is definitely not needy, or carrying around baggage from past relationships. It may take longer to get to know Mr Nice guy than some of the bad boys you’ve dated, but it’s well worth the wait. Remember, lust is easy to find, but a good man is hard to find.
Where do you meet Mr Nice Guy?
Most Nice guys are harder to find at first, because they don’t hang out with the bad boys. These are not the bar-flies, or the players that will approach you anywhere – these are family men. They enjoy their friends and family. They work hard. And they probably don’t get out to meet new people as often as they’d like. Chances are, you’ll meet this guy through a mutual friend, at work, a work colleague, or an online dating service. Ask around, go to friends barbecues, go to work parties, and eventually you will find him.
Go out there and date!
Meet nice people. Give them a chance. Mr Nice Guy will more than likely take things a little slower with you than the bad boys. Go out on second dates, and third dates, before you make up your mind. But as soon as you recognize a man that won’t treat you right, end it immediately. Don’t waste your time with another bad relationship. Know what you want, and go after it.
You may have to kiss a few frogs first, but before long you’ll find your prince.
